Therapy for anxious teens

In-person & online in Houston

It can be so difficult to see your child struggle.

You’re worried about your child. Maybe she’s always been anxious, but now it’s worse. Her grades and social life are suffering, and more importantly she’s not happy. You try giving reassurance, but it’s not working. You’d do anything for your child, but you feel like you can’t break through. You’ve given your child so much, and it hurts to see her overwhelmed.

Maybe you’re noticing:

  • Withdrawing from activities and people

  • Looking preoccupied, distracted, or distressed

  • Complaining about headaches or stomach aches

  • Seeking reassurance

  • Panic attacks

Get back your happy, healthy teen.

How anxiety therapy works

Anxiety therapy works by giving your child the skills to transform her attitude, attention, and actions.

First, she’ll learn to get excited about facing challenging situations, seeing them as opportunities to grow and bring out her very best.

Next, she’ll practice shaping her attention to focus on what’s important to her and enjoy being completely in the present moment rather than worrying about the future.

Finally, she’ll learn to act according to her highest ideals, by setting and working towards fulfilling goals in important areas of her life.

What we’ll work on

Therapy can help your child:

  • See challenges as opportunities to grow

  • Enjoy living in the present moment

  • Actively pursue their goals

  • Understand how their brains work

  • Process uncomfortable thoughts & emotions

Your child has incredible gifts, strengths, & potential.

I’M HERE TO HELP THEM discover that.
